Laksa Cookies
Every year we make these cookies, until they have become a part of our main-stay CNY item, well-loved by all of you.
The inspiration comes from my favourite Katong Laksa. Whenever I finish my bowl of laksa (large size, eaten with a spoon, no less), I would always feel sad that I have come to the end of the bowl, much like how I feel when I feel the bottom of the container of this one.
Contains Hae Bee Hiam [the only annual non vegetarian item on our menu], generously spiced with rempah made with galangal, lemongrass, candlenut & of course, a sprinkle of chopped fresh laksa leaves.
With a slight hint of spiciness, savoury sweetness and so so addictive!
Each jar contains approximately 55 cookies. Best consumed within 6 weeks, store in room temperature.
